Sunday snapping Butters
Butters – my canine manatee and I had a quiet day inside. Too hot to be out, chores done. Both still – on our opposing couches.
I took the first photo of her on my ipad – her face mirroring my own boredom.
When I decided to get my ‘real’ camera out – she took off immediately, as she usually does, not wanting anything to do with it.
Then she came back – and was uncharacteristically cooperative. Toward the end of the ‘photo session’ she seemed to be posing for me – allowing me to lay on the ground, zooming in on her, clicking away as she stayed still.
I give you some of our moments.

Sometimes I think they just give up. Like my doggie does in the bath tub:) My friend’s son always says “No paparazzi”, I assume the dogs feel the same way.
you’re probably right. Now I’m a little sad about it lol. Like she just finally resigns herself to my stalking.
Oh no! I didn’t mean it in a bad way…I think they just get freaked out at first. Then they calm down and see that it won’t hurt them. 🙂
She’s just over it, I must have thousands of her lol! She had that ‘oh, oh-KAY, I guess we’re doing this’ face on 😉
Ha! I cut my own dog’s hair (because I’m crazy) and she looks at my like that the whole time. Defeated and ready for it to be over…then comes the bath. Poor thing.
Why do they DO that? The bath thing – tangent. She LOVES how she feels after a bath – and I KNOW she has a great memory. So why is it, every bath time, I’m tracking and capturing and wrestling to get her in there? I want to see your dogs hair now. 🙂
