Dipping a toe into Water Color
Got nothing tonight – my little eyeballs are dried out from updating my blog and putting past posts into categories. So I thought I would share my recent foray into water color. Not a medium I’ve really played with before and they’re not done, so be kind lol!
One tree …
It needed a friend, so I added a tree
Quit with the trees and since I had the green out, did a praying mantis
Suppose I could utilize Google and Youtube and pick up a few tips. Think I will. Maybe this weekend I’ll get the paint out again.

thats good, painting is an awesome thing 🙂 but am not sure that trees would replace friends 😉
yeah, but the tree needed a tree friend 😉 Hope it doesn’t LEAF him! Maybe he’ll BRANCH out and take ROOT with a new friend? :-O
yeah great theory and liked it 😉 a new friend is expected. He’d love to branch out and taking root 😉 give it a chance 😉
by the way I liked praying mantis more than trees 🙂 you painted him better.

I liked your praying mantis, but was also quite frightened by it. If you put a nun’s habit on it, you might scare me so badly I’d be damaged beyond repair… 🙂
